Deriving its name from an alternate or mistaken spelling of the Piqua Indian tribe, Pickaway County (seat Circleville) is 501.91 square miles with a population of 52,727. Worthy of notice for the Octagon House–not strictly a cemetery matter, but interesting nontheless–it does boast a half dozen little hauntings and a number of very attractive cemeteries of varying sizes, including the inexplicable Morris Church Cemetery.
