Guernsey County earns its name from the Isle of Guernsey, which is where most of the original settlers came from. Its county seat is historic Cambridge, Ohio, which boasts (since 1969) the world’s largest interchange–that of I-70 and I-77. The county itself is 521.90 square miles and has a population around 40,792. It has quite a few cemeteries of interest, including the bogglingly large Northwood Cemetery in Cambridge proper.
